Welcome to Travelling Dave!

I am a travel photographer and Getty Images Contributor originally from Italy but based in the UK with a passion for landscape and architectural photography.

A frequent traveller, I had the opportunity to visit 40 countries across 5 continents. As I started travelling abroad in the “pre-digital camera” era of the late 80’s (even mobile phones didn’t exist back then!) unfortunately I have no high resolution pictures of Australia, New Zealand or Japan…a good reason to go back!

I started writing photo essays of my trips in 2012 and, as I run a photography business, I use my blog to showcase my photographs, many of which are sold through my online stores as Art Prints  souvenirs T-Shirts and photo gifts on many print-on-demand products shipped worldwide.

During my time in London I got to explore many locations, “off the beaten track” and for over 25 years in the city I was always on the look out for new locations to photograph and write about. Having relocated to Staffordshire I now have the opportunity to explore this part of the country and venture further North and beyond.

On various occasions over the years, my photographs have been featured in newspapers and magazines both in the UK and abroad and one of my photographs won a competition and was featured in an exhibition in London’s Chinatown.
